This ending was great, quite intense and sad for me. I haven’t read the manga, so I just hope the girls are okay after this. It needs a season 2. Overall, this show depends on your taste. It doesn’t go into much detail about the disaster (imo), but it’s still quite fun to watch.

This episode culminates in a bittersweet, deeply human finale. While it may not satisfy plot-driven viewers, it fulfills the series' promise of exploring survival in a world-ending scenario without losing one's soul.
