School Days
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A timid high school student named Makoto Itou has been nursing a crush on a girl from his train commute, Kotonoha Katsura, but he's too shy to do anything about it. So he takes a sneaky photo of her and sets it as his phone wallpaper, because apparently that's a good luck charm for love. His classmate Sekai finds the photo, and instead of teasing him, she decides to play matchmaker and help him get with Kotonoha. There's just one problem: Sekai has feelings for Makoto too. What starts as a pretty standard high school love triangle in this 12-episode TV series slowly turns into something you genuinely don't expect. The tone shifts so gradually that by the time you realize what kind of show you're actually watching, it's too late to look away. School Days earns its reputation not through shock value alone but through a careful unraveling of its characters: their insecurities, their selfishness, their inability to communicate honestly. Every bad decision feels painfully human. If you liked the emotional gut-punches of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien or the way Shuffle! peeled back its lighthearted surface to reveal something messier underneath, this is in that lineage but pushed further. Myself; Yourself fans will also find familiar DNA here. TNK's 2007 adaptation of the visual novel doesn't pull its punches, and the ending is one of those things people in the anime community still talk about nearly two decades later. Just go in knowing that the cute romance setup is not the destination.

The beauty of this series is that it begins with what we believed was a traditional romantic anime. We get a fantastic plot twist from this series that nobody anticipated! The build-up of adrenaline, the unexpected results, and the startling conclusions are outstanding!🤩
The character development of our main characters is gradually progressing from sweet to bitter. Our main lead's motives and intentions are getting out of hand, and it's getting ridiculous. Overall, this episode provides an intense and fast-paced approach, which is LIKED!👍😍
This episode exceeds my expectations in terms of the story build-up, and the shocking scenes satisfy my craving for the intriguing plot. As I said from my previous reviews of the episodes, every chapter doesn't disappoint, and every episode gets intense, but OVERALL it's 11/10👍
This series keeps getting frustrating and devastating, but that is the essence of the whole story. In this episode, you'll feel a rush of adrenaline, just like Itou, as you deal with incoming difficulties while multitasking.
Oh well? This series keeps getting stressful, darker, weirder, and problematic every single damn episode!! But guess what? We are watchers loves watching problematic anime!! Every episode is progressingly building the climax just for the plot and for our MC's! 😫
The issues and difficulties that our MC is dealing with are becoming apparent and acknowledged! This episode moves a little too fast, and our main character's sudden shift is getting out of hand! I loved how this episode is PRETTY CLIFFHANGING! 🤩
The adrenaline and the dark secrets continue in this episode! Every new episode on this series keeps getting stressful and complicated for our MC's challenges. Itou's character is well-written with a delusional perspective, which is why I kind of hate him!🤦
Our main lead in this series is progressing rapidly, and his level of attachment is getting better! I enjoyed the story's intriguing plot twist, which both surprised and delighted me with its shocking conclusion! The story keeps getting darker, but I LIKED THE WAY IT IS! 🤩
What I like about this episode is that it provides us with a complicated plot and agenda for our MCs, but it also gives us a thrill and an upcoming fun plot twist in this series. Every episode gets weirder and weirder, but the mysterious side is on point! 👍
This current episode provides more unexpected outcomes and shocking scenarios for our main characters! Every episode of this series is progressing more; the pace is alright, neither fast nor slow, and the level of relationship of our couples is LEVELLING UP!😍
This episode builds up the romantic bond of our MC's! I loved the flirty, dark, and upcoming fun plot twist in the next episodes. And also, this episode contains a curiosity and an enjoyable foreshadowing of our beloved characters!
This episode's opening is entertaining, includes a fascinating part, and it does have a fun twist! I find all the main characters are pretty weird and hilarious in their own way in this series. The voice acting of the character and the soundtrack is MARVELOUSLY CRAFTED! 🤩
Otome y compañía vayan a terapia.
