Synopsis

"Satanika" was conceived as an OVA series based on a character from Glenn Danzig's Verotik Press. A three-minute pilot episode was produced by Madhouse, the animation studio. The pilot served as a proof-of-concept for a larger series. However, due to financial difficulties and the subsequent closure of Verotik Press, the planned full-length anime was never realized. The pilot episode remains the only animated representation of the character, offering a glimpse into the potential world and themes envisioned for the series.
