Yo! Even their secret base looks like something straight out of Voltes V haha. Masayoshi really showed what a good leader he is in this episode, but he had less time with Goto and Mari, and I miss their comedy together.

The documentary format here is a creative idea onto the somewhat repetitive style of a monster of the week battles. I like that the team dynamic of the Flamengers is slowly improving. The animation here feels lively and hold up well during the bigger sequences.

Small fan moments like the handmade strap make the whole “hero” thing feel surprisingly genuine.
