The final scenes had that bittersweet “life keeps moving forward no matter what” energy that this show loves so much <3

This arc felt way more emotional and serious than the usual episodic adventures and it absolutely delivered

The conclusion of the Ainu arc was so emotional. The music during the final moments? Absolute chills. It’s crazy how much I care about these "one-off" characters. This trio is really growing on me.

Resolves Verse 1 and the Ainu storyline wraps quickly but the reunion feels rushed. Still, Mugen's confrontation with Okuru is deep, and the northern landscape is visually beautiful.

This episode hit different. 😭 That Ainu melody is stuck in my head, and seeing the trauma behind the "monster" actually broke me. Jin's duel was cold, but Fuu finally dropping the "why" behind the sunflowers? Chills. I’m officially locked in for this revenge arc.

Dang. That's a tragic past for Okuru and the weight of his actions hang over every scene, while Jin and Fuu confront both danger and moral complexity. I kinda felt this episode. I thought Eren would only make me sad. This guy mad me sad as well haha T_T

Quite nice episode that man was really something, really great ending though a sad one it's still great! It's good that they're back on route to their destination! But yea I'm beginning to think that the samurai is Fuu's dad! Honestly a Banger ep right here, MUST watch!

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 17 of 26, this wraps up the 'Lullabies of the Lost' two-parter that began in episode 16, which split the trio apart for individual spotlight arcs. The resolutions here deepen each character's motivations heading into the back third of the series, reaffirming the bonds that keep Mugen, Jin, and Fuu traveling together as they push closer to finding the sunflower samurai.
