Even as a recap episode it still felt creative and entertaining instead of lazy filler. The hot spring inn vibe mixed with chaotic diary drama was weirdly cozy ngl

I love how the episode used old moments but still added new context instead of just replaying scenes randomly

This might actually be one of the funniest recap episodes in anime 😭 most recap eps are boring but this one had personality the whole time

For a summary episode, they did really well to make it not seem like a waste of time. We get deeper insights into our cast and also some funny bits.

Okay, usually I hate clip shows, but having Mugen and Jin read Fuu’s diary and judge her was actually hilarious.

It’s funny but also kinda chaotic. Mugen always gets into the dumbest situations.

Honestly, this episode had me laughing and facepalming nonstop. I was low-key living for Fuu’s diary commentary—like, her roasting Mugen and Jin had me cackling. I swear, I felt all the nostalgia hits and chaos vibes in one weird, hilarious package.

This one felt personal and bittersweet. Fuu’s diary starts off funny, especially how she roasts Mugen and Jin, but underneath that humor, I really felt her loneliness and how much the journey means to her. So adorable <3

Great recap episode. Nice that we know some of the hints of what Fuu is looking for. And lol Mugen complaining of Fuu's diary, that is just hilarious. 😂
Fuu might just got a crush on Jin.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 26-episode run, this recap lands after the emotionally charged 'Gamblers and Gallantry' and serves as a deliberate cooldown before the series shifts into heavier territory. It functions as a bridge to the upcoming 'Misguided Miscreants' episodes, which dig into Mugen's backstory and escalate the stakes considerably. For viewers on the fence about recap episodes, this one is worth knowing about as a tonal reset before the second half intensifies.
