i dont know why but the doctor give me strannge vibes, i think he will rat them i a while. And just to be clear, i dont think he died that easily

I did not think I would be saddened by a steampunk rendition of the old movie 7 Samurai in anime form, but that last scene, especially with Kanbei and Komachi definitely hurt. Again, I don't think I would praise how subtle, but very prominent the characters are in this anime, and this episode definitely highlighted Kikuchiyo, from the prison scene, to what he said after, and that ending, all allude to the fact that he does want to help. And we're still on episode 6 and I already feel the tension. Props to the writer.

It's ironic to be a samurai in this mecha like era. it is unexpected outcome for this episode, but mission must go on because people innocent lives are at stake. Kambei is like Levi, have this survivals guilt. It's sad but it's true, though I am not opening to other possibility, but situation like this is about to come one way or another. Nonetheless, the ep is great as always.
