Well... This was a pretty accurate ending, feels bittersweet but it reflect the same ending of the original movie. I wanted to finally see Katsushiro build his way with Kirara, but he knew his fate was not longer with her. This is an anime i would recommend 100%, i would love to see a more modern version of it, we had great fights, charecter development, a different story overall, i really enjoyed watching this.

Oh this is the end of our journey with these characters. Seeing the after credit, which consisted of a simple narration and flashback, made everything felt nostalgic. The battle that happened this episode was insane, epic even. Our characters were fallen, which was sad and mournful, but that ending also send a hopeful message, especially with how the village ended up to be. I really like the symbol of the scene with Katsushiro and the others in front of the graves of the fallen, it felt like a baton of sort. Overall, I really like this anime and the ending, bittersweet, but with a hopeful undertone to it all.

What a great way to end it all once and for all. I hated Ukyo to the core. I admire the samurai in what decision they did for a peaceful nation. The battle and reasoning of the characters are really wonderful. The growth of the characters, and the decision and sacrifices is marvelous. It's brave to continue living after the death and sin that these samurai are carrying. its something they will never forget but learn to live with it. It's really the people who been to the harsh hell battles are the one who protect the peaceful mmomments, and willing to be the a greater evil to eliminate the evil.
