Literally the calm before the storm, been wondering how long would be this arc, because we are getting a lot of charater development for almost all our characters!

As the title has suggested, we're at the period right after previous tense and insane battle. Thi is the calm, where we see the samurais molded into the village, which is sweet and a perfect segue to the next chapter of the story, which was hinted at when Kirara talked to Rikkichi (I think). What I really like about this chapter is despite having a restless pacing, they didn't brushed off what happened in the previous episode just like that, instead we even have a scene between Katsushiro and Heihachi about it. But the ominous atmosphere is still looming, I'm curious as to what will happen next.

Kyuzo is like a one man army. Indeed, Kambei-sama is the war itself, lol, he's really something. It's satisfying to see and hear the smiles and laughs of the oppressed, I hope it goes in reality. Wonderful ep, it's vibrant and comforting to watch. It has it's goofiness which is great. The animation and graphics is nostalgic, due it old animation version and the old ways of Nihon culture.
