Seeing the local woodcarving craft was actually super interesting. This show is great at making "local industry" feel important. Yoshino is starting to care about the people, not just the job. The wood sculptures look sick too.

The introspection here felt really cathartic and relatable. I love how the narrative takes it time to bring you through the motions, it's like talking to one of your trusted friends. This anime really feels that homely and charming.
