π SYNOPSIS
Long ago, humans and demons lived in peace, but that era ended when demons began attacking humans, plotting to free Gyumao, an evil demon sealed away for millennia. Now, Genjo Sanzo, a rebellious priest, is tasked with a dangerous mission. He must join forces with three demons: Sha Gojyo, Son Goku, and Cho Hakkai. Together, they embark on a perilous journey westward. Their goal is to halt the demons' efforts to resurrect Gyumao and, in doing so, restore the fragile balance between humans and demons on Earth. The fate of both races rests on their success.
