This series was a hidden gem. This first episode was truly promising from the start, making it a totally underrated classic slice-of-life anime. I thought for a second I saw Kagome on the OP, as the artworks were from only one mangaka. The chars and the pacing were highly engaging; particularly if you're an animal-lover like I am, you'll definitely adore Pitto. The BGM was perfect, especially the goofy ones, which suited the comedy acts. I liked the ED, too!
