Ibokura's Desperate Pursuit
Ibokura, a struggling YouTuber, pedaled his bicycle through a torrential downpour. His obsession was viral fame, driven by a desire to prove himself to former colleagues who had mocked him. He sought out two special chickens, determined to capture footage that would make him the number one content creator on 'Viewtube.' His grit was born from deep-seated resentment and a yearning for validation.
Dam Under Threat
Meanwhile, the massive demon Morio discovered the Kurome Dam buckling under the storm's fury. Deep cracks spiderwebbed across the concrete, signaling catastrophe for the town below. The official announcement of the dam's imminent collapse sparked panic among evacuees. Amidst the chaos, Elizabeth and Piyoko resolved to act, heading toward the dam, with Ibokura following them, still hoping for a viral scoop.
The Demon's Burden
The townspeople, glued to their screens, watched Morio physically straining to hold the dam. Their initial terror of the 'monster' shifted to desperate hope as they realized his intent. Elizabeth confronted Morio, questioning why a demon would save humans. Morio, recalling Keiji's earlier advice to find his purpose, declared his vow to hold the dam, his sacrifice beginning to challenge Elizabeth's ingrained hatred for demons.
Ibokura's Reckoning and Rescue
Keiji, earlier departing the shelter with a cool 'Adios,' reappeared as Ibokura faced his own crisis. Ibokura's filming of Morio's selflessness triggered a wave of guilt. He admitted his own failures, acknowledging his responsibility for his misery. The ground fractured beneath him, and he plummeted into the chasm, only to be swiftly intercepted by Keiji, who saved him mid-air.
A Hero's Acknowledgment
Keiji rejoined Elizabeth and Piyoko at the dam, his presence a calming force. He approached the exhausted Morio and formally acknowledged his heroism. Keiji's praise was direct and simple, calling Morio a true savior. Morio, hearing these words, found a final surge of joy, moved by the validation of his purpose.
The Dam Breaks
Despite Morio's superhuman effort, the dam's integrity finally failed. A massive section shattered, unleashing a thunderous deluge of water and rubble. Morio was engulfed by the initial wave, his physical struggle ending. As he was swept away, he felt a profound sense of peace, thankful for his existence and for having met Keiji, his final thoughts lingering on gratitude.
Keiji's Unstoppable Act
The town, watching the catastrophe unfold, cried out in despair as the dam gave way. Keiji, however, moved with grim resolve. He decided he would stop the overwhelming flood himself, refusing to let Morio's sacrifice be in vain. The townsfolk, witnessing his audacious move, rallied behind him, their desperate pleas for the 'Rooster' to save them echoing through the valley.
The Flood's End
Keiji unleashed his full power, a spectacular display against the raging waters. With a final, triumphant 'Cock-a-doodle-doo,' he brought the torrent to a halt. The monstrous flood, moments from wiping out the town, simply ceased. A wave of relief washed over the people, their cheers of gratitude resounding for their rooster savior.
Aftermath and New Paths
In the aftermath, lives were irrevocably changed. Ibokura, humbled and transformed, abandoned his pursuit of viral fame, choosing travel and self-reflection instead. Misuzu, inspired by the heroes, vowed to become a doctor to help others. Elizabeth, finally acknowledging her burgeoning feelings for Keiji, playfully chastised Piyoko for her overly affectionate displays. Keiji, having completed his task, said his farewells to Morio's spirit and the grateful town, his journey continuing.
EPISODE REVIEWS

The episode was tense and engaging as the dam collapsed. The ending was surprising and heartbreaking.Overall - good one, 9/10.

I think this episode goes back to the core idea of the show, which is simple survival and monster fights. It’s straightforward.

Really heartwarming episode. Keiji helps other people along with a demon. Not all demons are bad (for this anime only). It also shows character development. At the end, another shocking moment occurred!
