The best episode so far. It highlights the emotional and character dynamics. Too bad for Kazuki, who was caught in the middle and becomes a victim of this chaotic experiment. Another predictable plot with a new familiar addition to the cast. Expecting this not to be a harem.

It's incredible how the characters' development begins to show so subtly. The bond between Tsukasa and Anzu develops in a very tender and natural way, yet they still have eloquent and funny reactions. Also, it's still hilarious when Riri puts Anzu in such romantic situations.

Behind every strange situation, we can expect it is because a magical being has interfered to change things, and we are starting to see antagonists, apparently, but Anzu always manages to resolve it by being very sincere.

Episode Context

Building directly on Episode 2's escalation of Riri's dating sim interventions, this episode deepens Anzu's entanglement with Tsukasa while reinforcing her core resistance to the romantic framework being imposed on her. It's a crucial early-season bridge, still establishing the comedic formula while laying groundwork for Episode 4, which introduces a childhood friend archetype that will further complicate Anzu's increasingly chaotic situation.
