This shifted into a heartwarming episode with few comedic acts. Highlighted Anzu and Saki's backstory with a dark and intense tone. Saki's past was traumatic but been lightened by Anzu's trustworthy personality. Riri's smirking is a mystery, with the last two episodes remaining.

Episode Context

Episode 9 broadened Anzu's world by reconnecting her with childhood friends and reframing her relationships; Episode 10 capitalizes on that momentum by drilling into Saki's perspective and fortifying the friendship dynamic. As the penultimate arc before the finale, this installment lays critical emotional groundwork, character bonds deepened here will almost certainly pay off in the final two episodes. It marks a deliberate shift from comedy-first pacing to something more layered, signaling the series is preparing for its endgame.
