This anime screams 2000s aesthetic, from the music and kick-ass mech designs to the overall style. Nicely done for a first episode, introducing the conflict, the main bad guy, and all the standard stuff. I'm digging the CGI here. It's not the best looking, but hey, it adds even more to the aesthetic.
