They were pretty clever turning the misunderstanding from the previous episode into a comedic moment. Kagari also did a great job lightening the tense atmosphere with her innocent personality. Kotarou's interactions with Akane were pretty hilarious too.Overall, it was a good episode. The final scene was definitely enough to make me look forward to the next episode.

In all honesty, Kagari is what keeps the episode from being lackluster. The training arc with Kotarou is reduced to mere tidbits of scenes, rather than full fledged growth. Still, the episode somewhat redeemed itself with the final segment that involved some action - which I found to be a bit underwhelming and poor in writing.
