I really felt for Kyouhei this week because trying to keep a secret that huge while living in a cramped apartment sounds like a nightmare and watching him scramble to cover for Ren during the photo shoot when her wig started slipping was really stressful to watch and Ren is so charming as an idol, but she is a total mess at home

The contrast between Ren on stage and her eating junk food on the floor of that apartment is the best thing about this show

Kyouhei is already doing a terrible job as an assistant but his panicked face when Ren started changing in front of him again was so funny

That manager is definitely going to find out the secret soon if Ren keeps being this careless with her hair and clothes

The way Kyouhei struggled to carry all those heavy bags while Ren just breezed past him as the idol prince made me laugh

It felt so awkward when they had to share that tiny bathroom, and Ren kept forgetting she was supposed to be hiding her identity

I was yelling at my screen when Ren almost got caught by the manager in the dressing room and Kyouhei had to dive in to block the view

My nerves were shot when Ren had to deal with the fan girls outside the studio and then she just collapsed from exhaustion once the door finally closed

Ren trying to act like a cool guy while wearing those oversized pajamas in the apartment was way too cute for words

I really did not expect this to turn into a full on hentai short after that first episode, and the whole idea of absorbing magic through sex is such a weird trope to lean into. Ren being a girl makes it technically straight but everything looks so bl that it might drive some people away, especially since the story feels secondary to the fanservice

That was such a wild way to end an episode and the dynamic between those two is getting way more intense than the synopsis let on

They really just skipped all the build up to make them do that and the execution was just not very interesting to watch since it felt so forced

This episode moved way too fast and the focus being entirely on the sexual content for six minutes made it feel weird

Watching Ren drop the act for a second was great, and even though the magic power excuse is kind of silly, it gave us some of the best art in the show so far

Six minutes is way too short for an episode and most of it was just explicit scenes with barely any actual story happening between Kyohei and Ren

The way they handled the intimate scenes felt really bland and the animation didnt even look that great for a show that is mostly just fanservice

I am so confused why they went the full on bl route because that is not what I signed up for and the whole magic absorption logic felt lazy

The animation for the spicy parts is actually better than I thought it would be and Ren looks so good in those close up shots even if the whole magic power thing is pretty dumb

Ren is one of the best characters. Seeing how bold she got during that scene in the room was a huge surprise compared to her idol persona

ren and kyohei have a cool dynamic but the fan service scenes are starting to feel like they are just there for shock value

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the premiere's central reveal — that Ren's public identity conceals her true gender — this episode shifts focus from shock value to sustainability, asking how long this secret can realistically hold. Kyohei transitions from reluctant witness to active participant in Ren's world, deepening their entanglement. With six episodes remaining, this is foundational groundwork: establishing the stakes and rhythms of their partnership before the series escalates the tension.
