Despite the serious episode, the funny parts made some highlights on the episode. Though the enemies kind of reminded me of the gate keepers anime with that mysterious hat and all. Battle part here seems repetitive.

The first half of the episode is very slow and boring and Junki is not a very likeable protagonist. The second half amps the action and the mecha fight is slightly improved compared to the previous chapters.
