Considering how old the anime is, It was a great episode, and I really enjoyed it, especially the way they showed the past of one of the characters in the series. It was an emotional one. I feel like this is the first episode that really got my full attention.

Cliché evil scientist plot that doesn't go anywhere and with no relevance to the general story. So boring, it tries to be a character building episode and fails tremendously because the characters are empty and soulless.
