EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the return-to-the-past setup in the preceding episodes, episode 143 launches the Arcobaleno Trials arc — a filler stretch where Tsuna's crew must prove their worth through a gauntlet of challenges tied to the Arcobaleno. This first trial establishes the format and intensity level for the arc ahead. While not drawn from source material, it bridges the gap between major canon arcs and gives the cast room to demonstrate growth earned during earlier battles.
