Episode 132 sits deep in the Future Arc's Merone Base infiltration, directly following Tsuna's hard-fought victory over the plant-based weapon in 'Rampage' and escalating the mission's difficulty before the critical confrontation teased in 'A Game-Changing Move.' This is a bridge episode in the best sense, it maintains momentum while layering in new threats that will pay off in the episodes immediately ahead. At roughly the two-thirds mark of the series, the narrative is fully committed to raising the ceiling on what Tsuna and his allies must overcome.
