She realizes she is 100 days in the past, and Cheng Ze might still be alive.

Miao Miao bursts into the apartment building, racing through grimy stairwells and dim corridors to an empty apartment. She is disappointed, realizing she arrived too early; Cheng Ze is not there. The camera pulls back, showing the desolate, rain-soaked streets and towering buildings. Miao Miao walks alone, despair etched on her face, the weight of her return settling upon her.

In a park at night, a black cat with piercing green eyes approaches Miao Miao, who immediately recognizes him. Zhao Wen argues that life is precious, but Lu Zong insists only on Miao Miao's happiness. He warns her that Lu Zong won't recognize her and will think she's mad, but Miao Miao is resolute, insisting she must try. As she walks away, a man with blond hair, Xiao Zhu Guan, holding an umbrella, calls her name, surprising Miao Miao with his unexpected appearance.

Miao Miao and Xiao Zhu Guan sit in a cozy coffee shop. He offers her a drink and surprises her by knowing she was looking for Cheng Ze, whom he refers to as Lu Zong. Xiao Zhu Guan reveals he knows about her bullying and came to see Lu Zong about it. He then suggests the bullying is because colleagues believe she is Lu Zong's mistress. Miao Miao spits out her coffee in a chibi reaction, vehemently denying the accusation before rushing off. Xiao Zhu Guan offers his help, which Miao Miao thanks him for before leaving. Zhao Wen, still a cat, observes the interaction from outside.

In her bedroom, Miao Miao sings and then showers. She looks at a small scar on her abdomen, touching it thoughtfully. The mirror shows fleeting visions: her cat form with Lu Zong, then a bright light. Back in the present, a single tear rolls down her cheek in the mirror. With Zhao Wen stretched on her bed, Miao Miao looks out her window, resolute. She declares that this time, she will not let anything happen to him, regardless of fate.
