It feels so good to see Ji Miaomiao and Lu Chengze spending their time together, their character dynamics are amazing. This episode has great direction with an emotional rollercoaster and a cliffhanger, but I was really not ready for what happened 😔

What a roller coaster of emotion. This got me from hopeful to tearful. Huhu

Episode Context

At episode 15 of 36, this lands right at the emotional fulcrum of the season, the preceding episode, "I Want to Be Your Family," deepened Ji Miaomiao and Lu Chengze's bond, making this apparent turn toward separation hit with maximum impact. This is a classic mid-season pivot, introducing conflict or distance that the back half of the series will need to resolve. Expect the episodes following to grapple with the fallout established here.
