Damn! I'm surprised to see the reason behind Ji Miaomiao's power and that is definitely not what I was expecting. That's the reason why Ji Miaomiao feels even more connected to us. It's interesting to see how the story unfolds afterwards. It's sad how things are now at the moment

What a plot twist. That's heavy to take in you know. Haiizzz I'm preparing my heart and tissue right now. haha

Episode Context

Sitting at the one-third mark of a 36-episode run, 'The Cat's Wish' follows directly from the revelations dropped in Episode 11, 'The Secret,' using that emotional fallout as fuel for deeper character exploration between Ji Miaomiao and Lu Chengze. This episode functions as a bridge, consolidating what's been established while laying critical emotional groundwork for Episode 13, 'Observations in the Dark,' which signals a tonal shift toward tension and new challenges. It's a pivotal quiet-before-the-storm installment that strengthens the foundation the back two-thirds of the series will build on.
