I don't dislike the interactions between Emilia and Subaru, but I don't like it either. I'm not sure why, but it feels awkward to watch whenever they interact. Maybe it's Subaru's one-sided devotion coupled with Emilia's awkward kindness/prestige.

I feel like Subaru accepted all the characters he met at the Roswaal mansion way too quickly. I would have expected his past experience with Felt and Elsa to make him more alert when it comes to trusting strangers and relying on others within this world..

JUST when I thought the show had lost its mysterious edge and opted for a more "slice-of-life" genre within its premise, the ending of this episode hit like a wet sock. It was super cool! Not only did the timing slap (right after cute moments), but so did the soundtrack!!

episode 4 is where subaru's decision-making gets genuinely concerning. beatrice suddenly making a contract because puck guilt-tripped her? sus. also subaru's witch scent is getting stronger and rem wants him dead twice but he's still like "i must save them." stockholm syndrome speedrun any%.

The two maids here are so adorable! I love the blue haired one! I think she's called REM. Also Roswaal talks so weird! I also think he's the same actor of Dio form JOJO and Zeke from AOT!

New place. New characters. The mansion feels calm but a little strange. Rem and Ram are interesting from the start. Subaru tries to adjust to this new life. The ending feels uncomfortable.

Subaru wakes up in the mansion and fumbles into the forbidden library. Beatrice is... something else. He becomes a butler, meets Ram and Rem, and starts that peaceful life. But it feels too peaceful. You know it's coming. 😴

Literall waking up to twins rem and ram man this show is really wild. I love how Subaru tries to play "protagonist" but just ends up doing chores and getting roasted by Beako. Same time comdeic wholesome and dark.
