Honestly whatever went down with Subaru's knighting thing was pretty hard to watch. Just when I was starting to like him as a character too. Him pulling that was initially reasonable, but him being so hot-headed and refusing to back down make him pretty unlikeable in my books.

Holy guacamole, what was that on Subaru's end loll, Emilia's crash out was reasonable. I really felt the displacement between Subaru being so familiar with Emilia from his past loops, but Emilia barely feeling the same. The whiplash is crazy good and emphasizes the his loops.

Aside from the drama with Emilia which took a front seat, the scenes with Felt and Reinhard went hardd like I really like their dynamic and Felt's representation amongst the royal candidates. I felt the cultural shock of her being there as someone from the slums.

julius wrecking him in that duel was necessary. someone had to humble him. the argument after where emilia calls him out for doing everything for himself? that's the wake-up call he needed. subaru finally realizing he's not the main character in a game.

Goodness me! That small duel with Julius was not that special but intense! A pride of a knight is shown. But Subaru shows a pride of a person he admires the most! Good thing what they portrayed here that looking badass does not really look good. Even Emilia was embarrass for him!

This episode is hard to watch. Subaru lets his emotions take over in the throne room. You can feel things going wrong. The duel with Julius is rough. And the argument after that just makes it worse. It’s frustrating but important for his growth.

This episode was really painful to watch subaru's knight speech was really cringe for me atleast this episode was mid for me not for animation or anything just its cringe or pathetic to watch.
