The animation from Rem's battle sequences were amazing! From the sound effects to her weapon of choice, everything feels so tuned into the 'maid aesthetic' surrounding her character. I really love the character design around her and Ram!

The build up for the next episode is crazyy so many things are about to go down, and the build towards it was amazing; subtly creating the notions and setup for the main upcoming plot.

This episode feels pretty stagnant in nature, not that much going for it imo. It was mostly the dialogue between Subaru and Ram that occupied this episode. The dialogue is really well-written though, I like that Ram barely gave him her backstory, super realistic

this is rem's love letter to subaru and it's terrifying.he ending with subaru trying to cut rem's hair to snap her out of it is pure desperation. also beako couldn't remove the curses? ros-chi better have a good excuse for being MIA again. rem best girl but also please get therapy.

More action! Finally Subaru changes everyone's mind! Rem is helping him. Going lengths for him! Really love how the writer wrote this story as if the ending was already made before writing the beginning. It was also funny looking how Subaru was carrying Ram!

This episode is intense from the start. Subaru makes a risky plan using his Witch scent to draw the mabeasts. The forest chase is chaotic. The fight feels dangerous the whole time. It ends on a harsh note.

Rem opens up about her past, and you start understanding her more. Drops a line that'll stick with you. The connection between them grows. Then things go wrong in the village, and suddenly it's panic mode again. This show never rests. 🚑

The teamwork with Rem is such a mood shift from when she was literally hunting him inside. Using shamack for first time is literally epic making him a little more good than average tracksuit boy..
