Episode Context

Coming off Episode 8's escalating Witch's Cult threats, Episode 9 represents the critical turning point in the Counterattack Arc, shifting from defensive positioning to coordinated offense across Priestella. As the ninth of sixteen episodes, it sits right at the season's fulcrum, converting the tension built over the first half into direct confrontation. The battles and strategic gambits introduced here lay the groundwork for the high-stakes resolutions expected in the back half of the season.
