Episode Context

Episode 4 marks the critical pivot from reactive survival to proactive counteroffensive, after the Sin Archbishops' devastating assault on Priestella dominated the early episodes, Subaru and his allies finally mount an organized resistance. Sitting at the quarter mark of a 16-episode season, this installment establishes the battle lines and team dynamics that will drive the mid-season conflict. It bridges the initial shock and despair with what promises to be an escalating series of confrontations against individual Archbishops in the episodes ahead.
