Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 2 Part 2 Episode 2: Otto Suwen / A Reason to Believe

Things are finally being set in motion, and I’m curious to see how everything unfolds given how risky Subaru’s plan is. It could end up going perfectly, terribly, or somewhere in between with that bittersweet feeling Re:Zero loves so much. Otto’s backstory was a fantastic addition, explaining how his past shaped the person he is today. Seeing what drives him was genuinely touching. Now it’s back to business, and everything starts falling into place. Wow, it went much further than I expected. OH MAN!

Would it stay valid if I give every episode a 5 star? Probably no. Would I still do it? Most likely, yeah. You can't make stuff more organic than what Emilia and Subaru has on this episode. Despite the weight of what on stakes, the quarrel seemed mundane and just like any other lover would have you see on life. Writing has always been the main attraction to Re:Zero for me, superb!

Back-to-back banger episodes for this one, and even though this wasn't as hype as the first episode, the emotional aspect of it was through the roof. So far, I'm really loving this second part more than the first, as it really improves the pacing of the story while still gradually building the momentum toward its climax.
