Re:Monster Arc Review

To be honest, I am very disappointed with this! I love the light novel very much, and the manga was also superb, but the way they skipped so many things in the anime disappointed me a lot.

Story-wise, while it remains great, the small missing details greatly reduce the immersion that should have been there instead. The pacing was also a bit problematic. While I don't hate the super fast progression, with parts of the story skipped, it feels very awkward to watch.

Craftsmanship-wise, it's just okay. There are times when the animation is rough, and there are times when the animation is great. The visuals are great though. I prefer the anime style more than the manga.

Overall, I'd rate this series a 7/10. If you don't like how they skipped parts of the story, you may choose not to watch it.
