Wow, this episode completely destroyed me. I was not expecting to get this emotional over!!!!! The whole plotline with the spirit are very interesting and creative, it's so moving. I think whole episode are balanced its lighthearted comedy with a genuinely elegant, tear-jerking piece of drama. ;-; yknoww

The sudden emotional pivot in this episode caught me totally off guard. Initially it looked like a standard episode but it turned into a beautiful look at Inoue's family dynamics. The emotional beats are perfectly handled by the pacing, and the tone blends genuine sweetness with silly humour. Moreover, the animation on the food looks great.

Man, I still remember this episode! I also remember tearing up a little when I watched it the first time. We get to meet Inoue's little cousin, Yuuki. He may seem bratty, but he's actually carrying a lot. Heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time.
