EPISODE REVIEWS

Ahaha, this anime was fun to watch. They got their own punchline. Even the plot twist is a humor. It has a ton of heart. I love how it balances comedy with these quiet, emotional moments about connection and loss. Even It looks a bit outdated and soft. It's not bad, but it definitely didn't blow me away visually.

It starts off hilariously. Amami's classmates completely freak out, while she casually chats with random spirits, and it works perfectly. The pacing in snappy and introduces her supernatural gift without any drag. The animation makes the spectral elements pop. It sets up a lighthearted tone and a great vibe. We also witness some great character development for Inoue.

I'm so happy to be rewatching this anime, as it's really underrated and not a lot of people know it. I actually finished rewatching this already just a few months back, but it's such a fun show so I don't mind. The episode starts off with our girl Hibiki, who can see and talk to ghosts. We get introduced to very interesting characters with contrasting personalities, and to be honest, it sometimes reminds me of Clannad—just not as depressing.
