Episode 1 opens with a flashy and energetic presentation for Honey, we get to see this classic pushed into the 21st century. From the start we get to see a different take on Natsuko alongside the Honey we love. The animation is lively and perfectly fitting to Go Nagai's style.

Episode Context

As episode one of a tight three-episode OVA, 'Volume Heaven' serves as pure setup, introducing the central conflict between Cutie Honey and Panther Claw while establishing the dynamic between Honey and Natsuko Aki that will anchor the entire run. With only two episodes remaining, this opener prioritizes world-building and character introductions, setting the stage for escalating stakes and deeper character work in the episodes ahead.
