EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off major revelations about Altair's true identity in Episode 8, this ninth episode processes the emotional and psychological fallout rather than escalating the physical conflict. It marks the series' transition into its middle stretch, deepening character fault lines — particularly around Souta's guilt and Magane's scheming — that will fuel the misunderstandings and fractured alliances driving the back half of the season.
