This episode is trying to set up an emotional last meal but I really feel like they are dragging this far too long. The characters know that they might die or disappear soon, and they talk about what it means to be created by someone else.

Lots of talking again and nothing really moving forward. Feels unproductive, like a breather episode with everyone just hanging out. Pacing and animation are okay, but it’s not very engaging.

What a buildup. It’s on a whole other level. It really builds and leads me to my ultimate frustration. This is the problem when the debut episode is too good and you can’t keep it up or stay consistent. I expected a lot from this series, but it has only built up my frustration until this episode. They even added a hot spring break when we didn’t need it, since there hasn’t been much development to justify a breather. The last four episodes already felt like a breather.
