EPISODE REVIEWS

The animation during the dark sterile surgery room scenes looked incredibly slick and atmospheric. This episode was phenomenal. It managed to perfectly blend a high-concept sci-fi medical anomaly with deep personal character trauma. I love how it's could blend well to the anime as we here could feel the pain and sense.

What happened to Sayaka at the hospital was terrifying, It reminded Ray of the time she was with his friend Miyabi. Sometimes it's fun having a friend with a third eye, But it's also a bit scary.

I don't even know how many turns this episode took from occult to scientific to whatever that random bs was in the end. Personally, I'd prefer this anime to stick to one genre. This episode is also a lot more randomly yucky, so there's your warning ig.This episode also explains Ray's first concerning operation, and that's the only plot-relevant revelation in my opinion.
