The His Student Arc began in this episode while also continuing the overarching Miniskirt Santa storyline. It does a great job of setting up the plot, and I'm really curious to see what happens next.
The series pivots into a new mystery while keeping its signature mix of romance, awkwardness, and existential weirdness. The atmosphere feels deceptively warm, but there is a constant sense that something bigger is lurking underneath. Sara immediately adds a fresh layer of intrigue.
It's hard to tell where all these events are heading right now. It's very open ended. And now the dreams? I don't remember seeing this before in the previous season/movies. Despite the predictable interactions, there's at least one or two that are different. And for the most part, they remain enjoyable.
