Episode Context

Sitting at episode 35 of 161, this installment follows the 'Assault on the Girls' Locker Room' storyline where Ranma and Ryoga's ongoing quest to cure their Jusenkyo curses picks up a new lead, driving them directly to the Kuno estate. The episode serves as a bridge between that discovery and 'Goodbye Girl-Type,' which pushes the curse-reversal plotline further with higher personal stakes. It's a mid-arc adventure that uses the Kuno family's eccentricities to keep momentum while advancing the larger quest.
