Synopsis
Ranma Saotome and his father, Genma, return from training in China, forever changed by a cursed spring. Now, Ranma transforms into a girl when exposed to cold water, while Genma becomes a panda. This creates immediate chaos at the Tendou dojo, where Soun Tendo awaits their arrival. Soun has arranged a marriage between Ranma and one of his three daughters. The chosen bride is Akane, and neither she nor Ranma is thrilled about the engagement. Their relationship is further complicated by their clashing personalities, the constant gender-switching, and the martial arts battles that erupt frequently. The series explores themes of love, identity, and the challenges of arranged marriage, all set against a backdrop of comedic misunderstandings and over-the-top action.
