EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode focuses more on kankuro and his get back at Miki. It has a couple of nice fight scenes, the episode is also kind of live themed.

Honestly, Kankuro is a character I am not really fond of and one of my least favorites out of everyone. Aside from the fact that his seiyuu does not quite match him in my opinion, his mindset feels completely off, making his overall appearance feel very unbalanced to me. Although his presence effectively adds an aggressive dynamic to the premise, his absurdly dim-witted perspective is still quite off-putting. And yes, the hilarious comedic elements are definitely still there. Well!!! It's just that Kankuro feels far too immature compared to his image.

This was a rather muddled episode with the spotlight on Kankuro's vengeance. It was funny, especially when he questioned the identity of Toshiyuki. The tone was hilarious and unexpected, particularly in that scene where Kankuro saved someone but got hurt not in the accident but in somebody's hand. And in that ending scene, Wakana acts as a go-between!
