EPISODE REVIEWS
This episode demonstrated the struggles the boys will face even outside of the prison, while not allowing us to forget about those who were left behind. It brilliantly sets up the show going forward as a unique struggle for each half of the original gang.
I found this one pretty frustrating, but in a good way. The show does a good job showing that not everything gets resolved easily, which makes the situation feel more realistic. Some moments were hard to sit through, but I liked that it didn’t take the easy route. It’s the kind of episode that makes you think about what happens after the conflict is over.
My anxiety was through the roof this entire episode. The villain's relentless pursuit of the escapees made the group's bond stand out even more. I got emotional when Mario said he'd follow Anchan anywhere during their desperate final run for freedom. The tension was incredible.
