EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode does a lot of setup, with elements of Turtle's and Lily's futures up in the air. All of this is probably building to something big, with the suspense being built up nicely. Very interesting, a sitting on the edge of your seat episode.

This episode took its time and focused more on Turtle. I liked seeing more of his side of the story and the problems he had to deal with. It moved at a slower pace, but it still kept me interested. I liked how it showed more of what Turtle was going through and gave him a chance to stand on his own. It was nice seeing Turtle get more attention and seeing his story get explored more.

You could tell Lilly never fully trusted him, and that added a lot to the tension. That unsettling laugh genuinely caught me off guard. I also enjoyed how several character arcs came together, even if one recurring visual felt a bit overused. But one thing that really stood out to me was how limited women's options are throughout the story. It's a sobering reminder of how deeply unequal society was during that era.
