Watch it for closure, but prepare to be mad. The spectacle of the Bahamut fight is 10/10 MAPPA excellence. But the resolution? Forgiving Charioce after committing literal genocide feels like a massive cop-out. It’s a visually stunning finale with a deeply frustrating narrative.

Virgin Soul really looked at suffering, romance, politics, trauma, giant monsters, and emotional damage then threw ALL OF IT into the finale blender. Somehow it still lands emotionally though. Messy, bittersweet, dramatic as hell, but weirdly beautiful too.

The finale is a total emotional rollercoaster. Charioce and Nina are honestly so tragic yet beautiful together. That final dance scene genuinely broke me because their chemistry is unmatched
