The gods taking a direct hit from Dromos is visually stunning. MAPPA’s scale of destruction here is terrifying. Nina finally gets her dragon hero moment in front of the King. The shift from a prison break to full battlefield chaos is seamless and stressful.

Nina finally breaks out of the dungeon thanks to an unexpected kiss while Mugaro reveals a stunning transformation that changes everything. The tension between humans and gods is hitting a breaking point and I loved seeing Jeanne’s reaction to her son

The scale becomes INSANE here. Virgin Soul really nails that feeling of being trapped in the middle of something way bigger than the characters themselves. The visuals and soundtrack together were absolutely carrying the tension.
