Synopsis
In a world grappling with the aftermath of the "Human Annihilation Mission," a novelist in Japan struggles with writer's block, haunted by the disappearance of a friend. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, the Paper Sisters—Anita, Maggie, and Michelle—run a detective agency, utilizing their mastery of paper to solve book-related mysteries. Their lives intertwine when they are drawn into a global conflict orchestrated by the villainous Mr. Carpenter. This unlikely alliance of individuals, bound by a connection stronger than blood, must traverse the globe. Their mission: to thwart Mr. Carpenter's sinister ambitions. The series explores themes of friendship, the power of books, and the importance of unity in the face of overwhelming odds, all while the sisters try to find time to read.
