After all that fieldwork, we finally have a technology-focused episode. It was nice that they delved into the online field and showed how advanced they are technologically. The tension and mystery really hooks you into watching, especially when you see the ending of this episode.

A more tech-heavy case with the avatar investigation. Watching Akane navigate the virtual space is interesting, though less intense than before. Still, the mystery keeps it engaging enough to not skip.

Lovee the direction the story is taking! And I like how they’re expanding the case into the virtual world, knowing how high tech their world is. The pacing is also really good. It balances tension all throughout the episode so well! And that ending was definitely not on my list!

Still more world building but more engaging now, makes you wonder about internet fame in the future Hahahaha. And there’s tension in the team. You can feel something is off with the system. Definitely not boring.

Pacing becomes sharper and more urgent. The tension is great on this episode, it really hooks you up into wathcing it. animation is so good and dynamic. The tone leans into PSYCHOlogical horror wahaha. With the plot moving on this episode, we can finally see some answer?

The episode explores how identity can blur in a heavily digital society. The standout moment arrives when investigators confront a suspect whose appearance no longer matches reality, revealing how easily perception can be manipulated.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 4 marks the first half of a two-part cybercrime investigation, following the standalone case structure established in 'Rearing Conventions' while deepening the show's thematic focus on surveillance and identity. It directly sets up 'Nobody Knows Your Face,' which continues unraveling the perpetrator's methods and motivations. More critically, this is where Makishima's presence begins threading through the case-of-the-week format, signaling the shift toward the larger conspiracy that defines Psycho-Pass's back half.
