This episode wrapped up the kidnapping plot quite nicely, giving an emotionally satisfying conclusion to Yakumo's mother's story as well. The darker elements of this episode came across a little cheesy, but not necessarily in a bad way. Overall pretty good watch.

Episode ini lumayan emosional. Hubungan Yakumo dan Haruka yang awalnya terasa kayak dua orang dipaksa kerja bareng sekarang jauh lebih enak dilihat. Tapi atmosfernya tetap suram banget, bahkan ada beberapa bagian yang bikin sesak. Yakumo juga... orang ini kayaknya butuh satu hari tanpa trauma deh 😔

The darkest episode of all time so far. Holy hell, I didn't expect the gravity of it all. Unfortunately, the episode has a hasty reveal that gives little room to breathe for the character to contemplate the revelation without being said to our faces. A lot of the new information was never hinted in past episodes despite the antagonists having been introduced from the beginning, but points for making one of the most reprehensible man in fiction. Also, despite Yakumo's feelings for Haruka reaching a milestone, the depiction was too subtle for my satisfaction.
