We continue the chapter where we left off. Himeno transforms into Pretear and has to fight. I must say that I really appreciate, from a story perspective, that Himeno doesn't know how to use her powers from the start; that's something many series choose to ignore. Himeno is ignorant of everything, and Hayate does a terrible job of guiding her. In this episode, Himeno tries to train for her new role, and I certainly find it refreshing to see a magical girl practicing her powers. Himeno's stepsister, Mawata, seems to have problems that suspiciously suggest she'll have an important role in future episodes.
